Baptism this Sunday

31 10 2007

imageThinking about baptism?  This Sunday (Nov 4) at exchange we are wrapping up our Old School series by having a special emphasis on Baptism.  We will explain what it is, how it is done, and have everything you need to get baptized THAT NIGHT.  I am excited to see what God is going to do.  We already have several people who have talked about taking the plunge on Sunday.  Why not you?

‘08 Blend

24 10 2007

imageIt’s that time of year for me.  In a couple weeks I will be locking myself in a room for a few days and sketching out some ideas for our teaching themes for 2008. We already have a ton of ideas in the blender (where we chop, grate and liquefy), but I said to myself  "Hey (Self), let’s get some open-source action here."   So, I am looking to you (a source that is hopefully open) for  input to add to said kitchen appliance.  So, the million dollar question: "What would be a series that you would invite your friends to?"  Post your replies below!

Karen Hartcourt sent this link in.  Karen was part of a National Crash Team that rebuilt homes in New Orleans.  Be sure to click on the video icon at the top of the page.

For those who took part in one of our many trips to the gulf, you will recognize Dan in the video.  He is the real deal.  It was a privilege to work with him and the SP crew.
