I’m Signed up…how do I find the sermons?

Shawn (11:24:12) :

@adam - we’ll be posting future audio updates inline (with the little play buttons, like you see below the subscribe links) so you won’t have to subscribe to the podcast to listen to the teachings.

@Lisa - to subscribe, you’ll need a program that’ll subscribe to podcasts, such as iTunes or Doppler. Otherwise, you can just come to this page and listen to the teachings as they get posted.

@Joanne - the teachings will be posted on this page, and future releases can be downloaded via a podcast subscriptions (using iTunes or Doppler, just to name a couple programs), or you can come to this page. If you’ve signed up via e-mail, you’ll be e-mailed a link to the new teachings as they get posted.

Can you add the music to the podcasts? I have moved away and have not found a church where I am now that gives me anything close to the experience I had at Maryland, and a large part was the music- I always left the service pumped up and ready to face the week! It would be great if you could add the music to the podcasts!

Scott, unfortunately, due to copyright restrictions, we can’t. :(

Is there a way to burn a copy of a one of the above sermons onto a CD to keep it for future reference? I did not submit a request in the Scroll shop for a CD this time because I thought I could just download it and then burn it, but so far I can’t figure out how to do it. (I just want the sermon, not the music this time.) I have already subscribed to the podcast feed, and it is set up to download new updates daily, but my list of feeds only shows the current ten articles about the Quatemala trip, and the podcast I would like to download and burn is from 3-11. Thanks for your help.

Marsha, if you want the podcast feed, add http://feeds.feedburner.com/exchangepodcast to your feed reader (or sign up for e-mail updates) and that will allow you to download the teachings in MP3 format. Then, once you’ve downloaded those, you can simply burn them to CD.

How do I download the sermon? I only see a button beneath it to play it, none that say “download,” or anything else. A friend told me I should be able to right click on the file and then my Windows XP would give me a menu option to “send to” my CD drive, so that I can burn to CD, but when I right click on the podcast files on this page, nothing happens. My feed subscription just leads me back to this page, and thus I’m back to square one: I can’t figure out how to download the file.

I am receiving emails now for new podcasts, and the email includes a “Download” link/button, so I think that will work fine for new podcasts. However, the sermon I want to download is from 3-11, “What is God’s Will for Me?” Can you either email me a download link to that sermon or explain how I can download it from this page? Thanks.

Shawn (18:15:05) :

Marsha, there is now a download link for the 3/11 teaching. Let me know if that works for you.

[…] you heard Scot say that this year might not be as good as last year (listen to this past Sunday’s teaching for more deets)… well, consider him wrong. We had a couple moments during practice tonight […]

Can we get a podcast (or, even better, a downloadable MP3) for Jack’s sermon on My Cause Part 2?

The “Resonance 06″ podcast link doesn’t seem to work at feedburner. I can’t get itunes to download it for me either, it says it can’t find it on the server. I missed that Sunday, so I was really hoping you guys would put that podcast up.

thanks,

~Jeff

Jeff, thanks for the heads up. Resonance 06 has been fixed, just tested and it works. Sorry about that!

Thank you so much for sharing awesome sermon. I appreciate your effort and everything you have done. You don’t know how much I feel so grateful for your preaching and many more. I thank God for leading me to Maryland Church. I really like every single sermon, Scot. You are the best pastor and worship leader I’ve ever met.

Thanks,

Jeff D (19:17:23) :

The sermon that’s supposedly “Mating Season 03-Porn Sunday” is actually a duplicate of “Mating Season 02-Thriving Single”. ‘Thriving Single’ was a good sermon and all, but I’d rather have two copies of something like “Resonance 02″ or “The Soul of eXchange.”

Jeff D.
